The CDM Programme develops small-scale grid connected solar PV power plants in Thailand, thereby displacing carbon-intensive electricity from the grid.

The first project has an installed capacity of 5 MW and an expected project life of 25 years. It is expected to reduce 3800 tonnes CO2 per year.

“We are very proud to add yet another solar project to our portfolio”, says Moe Moe Oo, Managing Director Tricorona Singapore. “Besides this, we got another one approved by the UN, located in Israel last year and we now have a total of 6 solar power projects in our portfolio.”

The power generated by this project could cover the entire need of 400 persons in Sweden and that is just the first installation. Many more are to follow, stay tuned!
